Jesus' Glorified Body

If the Incarnation of Jesus inaugurated the Present Kingdom, then His resurrection can be viewed as a partial inauguration of the Perfected Kingdom. Jesus rose as the "first-fruits" - the initial harvest - of all who will be raised at His Second Coming. John tells us in his first epistle, "when he appears, we will be like him" (1 John 3.2). By examining the post-resurrection appearances of Christ, we can learn what our own glorified bodies will be like in the Perfected Kingdom.
